Goodbye Cape Town…
Less ”look how pretty my shoes are” chatter and more ”my life is about to change” reflections.
It’s Monday morning. Normally I would be at my home office busy with MB Consultancy’s clients’ work. Instead I am chilling at Joburg International Airport…waiting to check in and experience the SLOW lounge hospitality.
I’m flying to Dubai tonight.
And whilst I’m full of anticipation and relish this incredible opportunity, new adventure, new experiences, new biz contacts (not to mention the largest shopping mall in the WORLD…going to be taking this blog to another fashion level :) ), I am sad to leave my family, beautiful city, mountain and friends behind. I will miss Cape Town. I will also miss being able to buy wine without a liquor license and wearing tiny shorts…the latter might be a good thing though judging by the carbs overindulgence of the past week.

Although for me it’s not goodbye, but more of a so long, until I am back again.

Waving at you is not really “goodbye”. Its more like “hello new places, hello new faces”. Will miss you (and the shopping advice via sms) but will def visit you soon.
